It was very late and my wife was 7 months pregnant and hungry. We were trying to see which restaurants were still open but missed closing by ~15 minutes. I will never forget, the owner saw us check the hours sign and came out to tell us he would make us some healthy good food for our developing family. Best curries we had in ages and from such a kind and caring owner. New hope is full of flashy places but this place is just home.

It’s rare to find an Indian restaurant in new hope area but I’m glad we could find one – Jaffron is a simple dining place where the accent is on flavors and simplicity. We liked the items we ordered mostly vegetarian options. Flavors are mild and you can tailor it to your spice level and the chili naan hits the mark very well!

I can’t believe I was the only person in this place— it’s the best Indian food I have ever eaten!!! The two guys working when I was there were very nice to me and helped me navigate the menu, even recommending a drink that I would like. The flavors are so complex and decadent, but I still felt great after eating it. The sauces were incredible and the naan was to die for. I will definitely be going back here and I have already told everyone I work with about it. This place deserves more business!

My boyfriend, who has never tried Indian food before, and I shared the Vegetable Korma with Jasmine rice and Garlic Naan. We also had their restaurant appetizer, baked flax seed, cracker-style tortilla with 3 different dipping sauces (yogurt & cilantro, onion chutney, & sweet tamarind sauce). All of the food was delicious, and my boyfriend has now become a fan of Indian cuisine (like me!). The atmosphere was small, simple, yet cozy. The staff was both friendly and accommodating! Everything was reasonably priced, as well. A definite recommendation to anyone interested in fresh & tasty Indian cuisine!

I’m going to start off by saying that I love Indian food. So I’ve had it at a couple of places in New Jersey and out of all the places that I’ve ate at I can definitely say JAFFRON is the best. The hosts was amazing. He took great care of me while I was there, but the food I had was the butter chicken with the garlic naan bread and it was absolutely amazing like I have zero complaints. I will forever go to this place. I don’t care how far away I am the food is that good!! I’m so happy I found this hidden gem.
