Of course one of my favorite places to eat. Lots of delicious vegan Mexican food —whether you eat meat or not, you must come try!

Listennnnn the tacos. Just wow! That is all. We ordered fish, cauliflower and chicken taco. They are in the order of most favorite to still favorite. The chicken one is your everyday taco but the first two… my goodness. Just yummy!

I have a genuine fondness for JaJaJa a Mexican vegan restaurant not far from the water in Greenpoint Brooklyn. During my recent visit, I was delighted to find that the exceptional quality of food I’ve come to expect was as consistent as ever. The highlights of my meal were undoubtedly the nachos and quesadilla, both bursting with authentic flavors and a satisfying, meatless twist that I truly appreciated.

Hands down, some of the best vegan *and* Mexican food I’ve ever had. With one trip, this has become one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. The nachos were the best nachos I’ve had in my life – hey, it’s a bold statement, but try them! Everything we ate, including the side sauces, were simply on-point. The Mezcal drinks (plum and watermelon) were so delicious and refreshing and smooth. The music and atmosphere was great, I kept using Shazam to find the tracks they were playing because it was so good. I’ve been recommending Jajaja Mexicana since I went and will keep on recommending it. Absolutely love it!

So many good choices and, of course, they are all plant-based. So cute inside, although we ate outside since the indoors was rented out. It was all good, as I don’t think you could go wrong. Enjoyed the Gorditas, Street Tacos, and Enchiladas. Note that the sweet potatoes were quite spicy. Fun place, good eats, and pleasant service.

I stopped here while at Marsha P Johnson and was quickly seated Thursday afternoon and I had the Buffalo cauliflower tacos and they were so good I should have gotten a third instead of two. They also play pretty soothing music and the atmosphere is calm overall. Super friendly staff. I will definitely be eating here more when I’m near the park!

Plant based restaurant. Was fun to try although we ordered way too much for 2 people. Didn’t even realise it was a plant based restaurant..until I noticed the WiFi name mentioned ‘jajaja plantas’. as we saw ‘chicken’ and ‘chorizo’ on the menu. I would say we would have been fooled until we tried the fish one, which I’m not entirely sure what the plant based substitute was but was interesting.

(4.8/5 rating) the ambience and views from this spot is great. Corner restaurant with a great bar! The music is TOP which is forever appreciated. The service was super attentive. Now when it comes to vegan food I’m always open to it & for the most part everything was great. I had their nachos which was DELICIOUS. Their ceviche was decent. Their chicken burrito felt too bland and I didn’t like their version of cream/sour cream. Their fish tacos were DELICIOUS. Their mezcal mushroom isn’t bad but you really have to enjoy mushrooms ! Lol. I had their horchata which had too much cinnamon or something cause the texture was a little too much. We also had two mezcal drinks which were very yummy. If you want to enjoy some good Mexican vegan this should def be on your list!

It took me such a long time to get in here and try the food, but life has a way of making things full circle. My favorite was the almond horchata and the empanada. The nachos are huge and filling. My least favorite had to be the quesidilla, I didn’t hate it. The service was great. The drinks were good. It’s so cute inside and way bigger than my brain imagined. I’d go back and try other things, and I’d Def order that beet and pumpkin Empanada to go because WHAT! AMAZING!?!

Recommend this spot. It’s vegan/vegetarian. The cauliflower flowers are an absolute show stealer. The palm fruit enchiladas could be better but still good. The nachos are loaded and it’s big portion.
