Good food, great atmosphere, the service was outstanding! What got me were the rolls, absolutely delicious! Our appetizers were pretty good as well, a bit different for my husband and I but still good. The fried chicken was probably the best I’ve had in years. It is a must try, definitely worth the visit.

Guess I chose wrong, everything was just shy of dripping in grease. I did love the chicken fried steak (glad I asked for the white gravy on the side) as it was really good. Can’t recommend the onion rings or the asparagus. Staff was the best one could ask for.

Overall, a fantastic meal. Service was excellent! Our evening was also so pleasant due to Kristen’s visit with us. Lonni, co-owner, came to our table after she heard us talking about the superb pecan turtle cheesecake. Turns out she made it that day. Definitely returning and soon!!

This place is in an ownership transition, but they are currently offering the old menu plus new items (bbq). My steak was perfectly rare and just a tad overmarinated. The fried mushrooms were wonderful (and spicy). The pinot noir and mac’n’cheese were good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Beautiful tables made by the owners with historical news clippings. The floorplan is open and well-lit, so not a place for that private candlelight dinner.

We stopped here after my son’s Pee Wee football game and we were welcomed immediately as we entered the door. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting and the food was great! I can’t remember the last time I had wings that were so juicy and tender! “Aunt Dody” greeted my kids and went and printed out Christmas themes coloring sheets for them and even gave them a special treat for cleaning their plates. Plus they have live music tonight! I will definitely come back when we come through!

We love Jake’s but today was a bummer. We got there around 1:30 – a little late but just looking for a quick bite. Waited five minutes for someone to acknowledge us then we were told that they were out of food – the kitchen was closed – come another day. Just thinking – wouldn’t it be good community relations in that case to at least say we are so sorry but here’ s a coupon for dessert on us next time you are in. So much nicer than we are out of food come another day. I will always think twice about going there now.
