So it’s been a while since we ate from here and decided to circle back to Jake’s. Expensive mistake. We didn’t get 2 of the side orders of bacon we orders and what we did get was burnt and inedible. Overall the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth what we paid.

Always a pleasure to stop in here and enjoy a bite to eat. Breakfest is always on point, and if you are starving, get a fat cat. More food than you will know what to do with, you can feed the significant other in your life that is eyeing your food with that glint in her stare as she looks down at the meager meal she ordered.

My first time eating and I will definitely be returning. The breakfast was amazing. I tasted my husbands pork chop dinner plate and it was so tender and cooked to perfection. Went inside the restaurant and it was such a homey feeling. All the workers was nice and working hard and assisted us with great service.

We order a lot from here. Food is great when we receive EVERYTHING we order. I work from home and sometimes it’s difficult for me to leave and go pickup and check to make sure my food is correct. Majority of the time my food is incorrect or missing something. Today we ordered breakfast. I only received my bacon omelet and cheese grits, no shortstack, no syrup, no forks nothing. I don’t even want to eat. I’ve had to request refunds from Uber to the point they’re threatening to lock my account……. So next time I order, I’ll make sure it’s in person and correct. Every time is ridiculous

This is a no frills eatery. One of the best hamburgers and chicken fried steak ( they call it country fried) in town. Really good breakfast too. My only criticism is that they don’t have real butter. I usually bring my own.

Love this place, we used to be regulars every saturday but life happened and we try to continue to go every saturday and a majority of the staff STILL knows our order. It’s great and never have any issues. Food is great and staff is great.
