Jakes Good Eats was recommended from a client. First time for me. I placed two orders over the phone for take out. Ordered a Po-Boy shrimp hoagie and a BLT with sides of fries and pasta salad. Time was perfect as when I arrived it was just getting bagged up. The host and cashier there were friendly. I actually forgot about taking some pictures of the lunch that we purchased, was really hungry!! Upon opening the containers over filling with food, definitely worth it!! Very generous proportions. Did not expect the amount of food. So fresh and tasty!! I also been told that all the deserts are homemade and are huge portions! I would definitely be returning.

On a Wednesday evening, I got the fried seafood platter with the homemade chips. I had more chips than seafood. Portions were terrible for $28. Wife got the shrimp Po Boy sandwich. She liked it. We shared a spinach and artichoke dip. Chips are a little weird. Got a tea and a water. After tip and the 3.75% service charge that the restaurant should eat for the price we have to pay, came to $69. Can I recommend…? Probably not. Also one wait staff for entire restaurant. Things didn’t get refreshed quickly.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant but decided to relax at home with food delivery from Ubereats. Everything about our experience was awesome. The ordering process, delivery and of course the food was amazing. We got an appetizer of plantains, small salad and shrimp and grits. The portions were more than enough for my husband and I. Loved the uniqueness of the plantains with shrimp and mango. The shrimp and grits were amazing. Also, loved that they didn’t give us plastic utensils and the food containers are reusable, not Styrofoam. We would love to come to the cool decorated restaurant soon.

It was my first time ever coming to this place everything was delicious made to order. Love the fried green tomatoes and the firecracker shrimp was the bomb. Jennifer was our waitress she’s very knowledgeable about the menu because she said she loves the food there. I wanted to see the chef but he was busy I just wanted to see who puts out such delicious food I wanted to see the face of such a person. I told Jennifer I guess he’s like Bigfoot some see him some don’t but they exist

First time in for dinner and will not be the last. The Chicken salad sandwich was great! The homemade chips were hot and crispy, Veggie platter was Huge (Okra, Zucchini, Mushrooms and Mashed Taters). YUMMMM Everything was scrumptious and plenty of it. Brought home enough for lunch. Be sure and seeing by if you’re in the area.

Just left Jake’s Good Eats. That’s the first time I’ve ever been and I will definitely be back. I had the shrimp and grits. It was probably the best I’ve ever had. My husband got the New York strip and he loves his too. The staff was very friendly as well!
