Top Notch Experperience! We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday with 10 in our party. And they found us a spot! Outstanding! The prime rib was superb, and stuffed salmon heavenly. Oh and the Au gratin French Onion the very best! The Old Fashioned with brandy served sweet was a heavenly.

The menu wasn’t what it was online. For people who are from out of town, it’s very disappointing to be thinking you can order one thing and it’s actually not there. Also, they up charges for soup or salad when the menu said it was included with Saturdays special. Food was good not amazing. Bottom of Salmon was burnt. Also, the staff over sat our waiter. Who we felt bad for. Two big tables and a bunch of small ones. He did his best.

One of the quintessential Supper Club in Wisconsin! We drove up from the Milwaukee area on a whim and it was worth the drive! Ask for Friday night’s Land and sea (a Friday night special that’s not on the menu) because it’s amazing! The beer battered fish and lightly breaded fish specials were equally delicious. Duane Shaw’s live organ supper club tunes completed the experience.

It was a great evening at Jake’s. They have a dish they call Land and Sea, which is slow roasted prime rib and a two piece fish fry. The young woman that waited on us was friendly and efficient. There was another woman who delivered our food and I was a little taken aback when she swore because the tray table did not open for her. It was odd to hear her swear. Other than that, it was a great night.

Perfect stop in on our trip to Chetek. Service was friendly, portions enough to take some with us and prices reasonable. The outside is an added bonus where if you can grab an outside spot by the river it would round out your experience. If we lived closer, we would make this one of our local hang outs.
