Just moved to Pasadena and getting a lay of the land. Passed by Jake’s a few times and have said we needed to try this place! Love the classic “old school” feel. The burgers were great as well as the fries (much better than In-and-Out burger!) love the happy hour free beer as well. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Friendly and helpful staff plus the burgers are great. They make their own pickles too, the only pickles I actively enjoy rather than just tolerate as the foil to the grease. My favorite cheeseburger. My only complaint here is the onion rings are extremely heavy, even for deep fried food and I recommend you avoid them.

THIS!! THIS IS THE BURGER THAT CALI NEEDS TO BE KNOWN FOR! We come here almost every time we come back to Pas. The owner is super nice and employees are great too! They make their own pickles which I actually like eating! Trust even if you’re not a pickle fan, give them a try.
