Not happy with the food, unfortunately. The chips were stale and smelling old, refried beans seems like coming out of a can, rice was hard. My wife hated her veg soft tacos and left it completely. Sons Mac and cheese had no cheese and felt like microwaved. Hopefully the ice cream place near by is better!!!

As someone from the south, I’ve had a lot of Mexican food in my life and the burritos, rice, and beans were all pretty mediocre. The portions were quite large which was nice for the price we paid. The service wasn’t great (We got the check before a drink refill) and the atmosphere inside is just ok. It is one of the only non-seafood options in bar harbor, but if you are used to good Mexican food, I would pass.

While being the main Mexican place in Bar Harbor, it was one of the most average stops in our food tour. We tried the steak fajitas and shrimp quesadilla, along with guac, salsa, and queso appetizer. It was an opportunity to eat something other than lobster. Drinks were good though!

We went for it despite reading some negative reviews, and we were glad we did. We both got taco salads and split the queso dip. They accommodated my vegetarianism without any difficulty. Our portions were large and the food was flavorful. Our server was very kind and attentive.

Got a nice outdoor table to sit. It was a good start. Next it took a while to put in my order. Main course we ordered chicken fajitas and fish tacos. Neither were any good. Sorry but the taste of the food was not good.

Found a hair in my food when I told the server all she said was accept my apology. Driest chicken I ever tasted my entire life the chips tasted like Tostitos chips and cheese was microwaved.

The food was tasty and fresh. The service was decent considering how busy the restaurant was that evening. My wife’s order was taken wrong, bit they replaced it speedily with the correct order and no hassle. Bery reasonably priced as well.
