This was my first time at this restaurant and I’m telling you right now you need to run and not walk to this food joint. This was the best Mexican food I’ve had in Tuscaloosa! The chips and salsa come out automatically and they were hot and the salsa was amazing. I ordered a hard shell and soft-shell steak taco and they were phenomenal. The steak was absolutely amazing. It was so well seasoned so whatever you order on the menu make sure it includes the steak! Super friendly staff and awesome service you cannot go wrong with this one.

Great lunch! Jalapeño’s is always good and our first visit here for a quick lunch was not a disappointment. The new restaurant has a similar feel to the others but with a classy twist. We sat downstairs but the upstairs seating looked to be decorated really well. Food was delicious, fresh and the place had a cool and relaxed vibe. The service was on point as well and our waitress was very attentive.

“Pork Belly Tacos” made with pork shoulder then deep fried. Way too expensive for white people tacos. Coleslaw does not belong on tacos. Great tequila selection but the food is meh.

This location is very different from the other Jalapeno’s locations, in a good way! The Mexican street tacos are without a doubt the tastiest and most authentic tacos in Tuscaloosa! Awesome selection of cocktails too. This is a much needed addition to downtown.

Food was good, but our waiter didn’t wait, we had to go ask the bar tender for salt…not on any table, drink refills and napkins. Didn’t tip but 10% because all he brought was the food and we had to wait on ourself.. Girl crew not coming back.. ♀️. Not crowded either.
