I don’t eat out anymore, but when I did go out, I would go here. I mainly get take out from here now & let me tell you, it is just as good as if I was sitting down & eating it there. I definitely recommend. The staff are always so nice & helpful. My food is always ready in a timely manner & it’s extremely rare for there to be an issue with my food. 10/10 would recommend.

Mexican food in the Savannah area is tough… Jalapenos is average, at best. most menu items are buried in sauce and cheese. Service can be either great or really really poor. It all depends on who you get. There can be a long wait to get seated, which is a mystery given the overall performance. They do a big bar business, so expect the typical island crowd and a bunch of kids at during dinner. Loud birthday party singing as well. usually lots of ruckus

I’m reading through some of these ridiculous 1-star reviews left by people who fancy themselves ‘critics’ or ‘influencers’ and clearly have not worked in the industry. This inspired me to leave my own review of the Whitemarsh Jalapeños. They have repeatedly delivered 5-star service and food whether in the dining room or at the bar, lunch or dinner!! The hosts, the bussers, the servers, the bartenders, the manager, the dishwashers, the COOKS!!! This crew works hard and they deliver graciously. Has there been onion in my no-onion dish before? Yes. Because they are human beings, not programmed machines, and they are cooking for hundreds of people throughout some services. When I told the bartender, he fixed it straight away and we all went about our lovely evening.
