This is by far the best restaurant in St. Charles. The food was amazing along with the handcrafted cocktails. The staff made us feel like VIP’s especially our severe Mary, she was great! The Ceviche Mixto was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. The Yukka fries, Plantain chips and pork rinds were perfect little appetizers. and the flavors of all the food was pure heaven. It was easy to go on their website and make a reservation. Don’t miss out on this experience.

A brother and sister owned Peruvian restaurant with authentic seafood cuisine is a must to try if you are in Saint Charles Main Street neighborhood. Reservation recommended to enjoy a great time with your loved ones. Warmth and smile will greet you as you enter the nicely decorated space. The famous Ceviche which can be ordered in different variations and hand breaded seafood dish Jalea (with its great tartar sauce) is must to try! Complement this with some South American inspired cocktails. The star dish of seafood medley paella – Arroz Con Mariscos lived to its name and $$. Quantity of all these is sumptuous. A true 5 star food experience all the way!!

From the outside you would never know how amazing the food is inside. Definitely one of my go to places for date night dinner. Their food is a lot different than the other food on Main Street. Would recommend everyone try it at least once!

It was different than the typical Main St options. Limited menu, definitely good ethnic (Peruvian) twist, and very tasty. I had the pork belly, and it was excellent. Service was very good as well, absolutely worth checking out

Jalea, restaurant was amazing. We were staying at a nearby vacation rental in April 2023 and decided to stop in for dinner. We were completely surprised by the service, atmosphere and food. I ordered the Jalea Atlantic Cod and was fantastic. Everything was fantastic. My wife and I highly recommend for you to visit when in the St. Charles area. The parking is close by in public parking or street parking when available.
