Hands down the best Mexican in Monroe! My family will dine in or order take out from here a few times a month. Recently been enjoying their 1/2 priced margarita special, the frozen mango marg is the best one! The food never disappoints and they will always be my go to spot when I don’t feel like cooking!

The food tasted good but the service was pretty poor. My husband and I were the only people in the restaurant on a weeknight, and service was pretty slow. When our waitress came to take our drink order, we ordered a bucket/pitcher of beers, but she literally brought us a single beer. We tried to explain that we ordered a pitcher but she just stared at us very blankly then walked away. When we got our food, I noticed that there was a hair in mine, so I asked for a new plate. Our server sighed and seemed very annoyed. She took it away, then brought me another plate, but the food was stone cold. Overall the food tasted alright, but nothing about this restaurant is remarkable. You can get better food and service at Tulcingo in my opinion, so I won’t be back anytime soon.

Walking into the Jalisco Mexican restaurant you are captivated by the beautiful decor and bright colors. Of course the food was delicious from start to finish. The salsa, chips and guacamole tasted so yummy and fresh. Then I tried to tackle a “Molcajete” served in traditional Mexican mortar and pestle which kept all the meats hot. We later tried the buñuelos and flan to end our meal . The staff was friendly and helpful when answering questions on the food. I would definitely be coming back when I visit the area.
