This restaurant has some really good food. If you go early morning you can catch all the fresh food. They also make their own buns and breads. My only downfall to this place is the price . THEY will over charge you if you take spoonful of anything. Example if you take oxtail gravy and a piece of oxtail gets in your food , you will be charged oxtail prices even though your plate is filled with chicken and rice . But now I know so this won’t happen again. This is the game they play when weighing food. Like I said earlier food is great , service is another story

One of the cleanest restaurants. I claim that because patrons have to wear plastic gloves to serve from the steam table. Food is weighed per pound and price of the small container was literally similar as other Jamaican restaurants. I tried the jerk chicken and the spiciness was on point and juicy

All the food prepared was great. When one pan was almost empty the staff members replaced them as soon as possible.

Wouldn’t recommend. Service just as nasty as the food. No joke

Good Jamaican Buffet, food is not spicy though. They have a variety, food is per pound based on what protein you are getting. Its self serve and they provide gloves for you to use prior to serving yourself. I’ve been eating here for the last 3 months, food is good. My only complaint is the oxtail and goat are not trimmed before cooking, but other than that..best spot for jamaican food out here

Rockaway doesn’t have much Restaurants so we are forced to settle for this. Wouldn’t feed my dogs this.

I used to come to this restaurant all the time , Idk if they switched chefs today but the curry goat was watery and the rice and peas was very mushy and some had burnt parts..I wasn’t satisfied with my meal at all today .. I’m giving 3 stars because they did way better in the past. Also , I don’t like how the employees stare you down while you make your plate.

Great Food. The Oxtails are the best when the gravy is prepared well. But avoid them when they are too oily.
