I’ve never been to this place when there wasn’t a line up for the food but today it was 30+ minutes so that speaks to the popularity of this restaurant. I ordered the oxtail/ curry goat combo with cabbage and rice and peas. There were good portions of both stews as well as gravy from each which I always enjoy. The seasonings seemed mild today as opposed to other times I’ve been there but I still enjoyed it with some hotsauce at home. Loved that the cabbage was not overcooked. Overall a great meal.

Ordered online for pick up. I placed an order for 2 stew chicken (legs only) and 1 jerk chicken. It said it will be ready between 238 and 258. My son got to the place around 3 and still had to wait. The stew chicken was 80% bones from thighs hardly any meat. The flavor, the quality of everything else was spot on. Would have received 5 stars had I received legs only and at least 80% meat.

I went around 5:45 pm on Saturday. They were very busy! I ordered a large ox tail plate with regular rice and cabbage. It took about 50 minutes to get my food. It was good!

Currently visiting Dallas for work. I was disappointed with the Jamaican food at a downtown Dallas restaurant. The Jamaica Cook shop curry goat meal was exactly what I wanted. It was my first time and the service was good and the food was delicious. I will visit again before I leave or my next trip to Dallas.

Love the place! I got jerk chicken wings, they were amazing and food was really fresh. Took some time to get my food but it was definitely worth the wait. I’ll be here to try more food. The people are very polite and friendly here. I’d highly recommend.

Not much of an eating environment. I ordered the oxtail large, the plate was 20 plus and the quantity was good. These have the bone but the meat did not fall off the bone, but that didn’t stop me from getting to it. Flavor was good though I could have used more kick! It took a good twenty minutes but mit is made to order, and it is given in a to-go box, and you just open and eat at one of 3 or 4 tables.

Fantastic! I went with my fiancée and we shared a large Jerk Rib plate and Chicken pattties. I was definitely upset they didn’t have the beef patties ready but the chicken ones definitely did not disappoint. They were playing bump and grind music and I swear, that’s how I was feeling as I was eating this plate. Can’t wait to go back and try more things from the menu.

Food was great ..came out hot & fresh..what surprised me most was how good and tasty the rice & cabbage was lots of flavor..not to mention the oxtails were very tender as well -cant wait to comeback and test the rest of the menu. Highly Recommended!
