First and last time ordering here. Got stewed chicken, not normally a spicy dish… Spicy. Steamed veggies was nothing but cabbage. Mac and cheese was broken, barely a portion, and tasted sour. Rice and peas apparently means rice and red beans (not a fan). Despite them having multiple sides on their menu, we were only allowed to choose between plantains and veggies with the meals had to buy others separately. The plantains were good at least.

I first went here back in September 2021 when they initially opened. The food was tasteless at best. I decided to give them another trial one year later and to my surprise, the food was really good. I had oxtail and was impressed with the portion size. I was so impressed with the taste that I went there again a couple of days later. I went all out on my next visit, and ordered jerk chicken, cury goat, curry shrimp, and oxtail again. The curry shrimp was the star ⭐ but they all tasted great.

Went here and they were out of everything. The woman at the counter was on her phone FaceTiming the entire time. Maybe I’m old fashioned but when a guest walks into your establishment maybe act like you want them to spend money. Very unwelcoming. I think they had like one empanada left. They also advertised vegan options, but had maybe once actual dish on the menu and it was potatoes and chickpeas. I’d leave zero stars if I could.

Just received our order, the rice and beans were dry as well as the jerk chicken. We ordered jerk sauce which was extra. I called for the sauce to be delivered and I was told that I had to come get it. If I wanted to go get it I would not have had it delivered. I was appalled. This is the first and last time ordering from this establishment. I should have read the reviews. Poor customer service

Hot jerk sauce tastes like BBQ sauce mixed with hot sauce. Sweet Chilli tastes like duck sauce. Oxtail tasted and looked more like roasted cross cut ribs and jerk chicken empanades are semi-dry slightly flavored chicken fried in an egg roll wrapper. Platter is almost entirely rice with very little meat. For the price the food is not worth it. Food doesnt taste bad, it just doesnt taste jamaican, or have a good rice to main dish ratio. If prices were cut down or non rice portion increased this place even with the food not tasting Jamaican would still be a not bad deal. As it stands with their price and flavor I don’t regret eating there but wouldn’t choose to eat there again.

Absolutely the worst Jamaican food I have tasted and over priced for no reason. I ordered curry chicken with white rice and plantain. I had a platter with mainly white rice, very lil chicken and no sauce with undercooked, tasteless cabbage and hard plantains. Food was dry, presentation was not good by putting all the food in this little white Chinese like container and again over priced and the only reason why I stress on price is because the food was not good. I was exited that Caribbean was coming to Middletown because there is a need for it but very disappointed.
