First time here, got the mutton. Pretty good, though a bit more bones than meat. The cornbread is super good, and I liked the plantain avocado side. Had to take a star off because the guy taking my order couldn’t understand me and I couldn’t understand him, which led to me getting some rice and beans I didn’t ask for and then buying an extra side due to that confusion. And also because it seemed a bit expensive for a meal, a side, and a drink by the time you add a tip to it. The lady who came to finish up the order seemed a lot more on top of things, so she was great.

Today was my first day try this restaurant and let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed. The service was excellent and the portion sizes of the food was great. I really enjoyed the oxtails. I will be going again I also had to try the curry chicken.

My wife enjoyed the meal. I ordered her food at the counter. It took a few minutes to be greeted. I stood there with a great deal of patience. Other than that, the restaurant seating area is cozy. A TV is mounted on the wall for entertainment.

The food was not as good as I had hoped. The portion of chicken was pretty much small no meat all bones covered up by rice with very little peas. I’m a New Yorker so I know my Caribbean food. This was nothing like what I’ve had. Ok the plantin was good but unlike most Caribbean restaurants you must buy it separate. (Long teeth suck) Never again though. What a waste of $$

For some reason everything I go there. There the young girl with the short afro is always unpleasant. She’s grouchy and when u talk to her she grunts back at you. U don’t feel welcome when u come there. That girl has a real bad attitude. However the food is good. But I don’t wanna go back because I would go in there in a good mood and come out grumpy just like the girl at the register. She is just nasty.

I looked up this place wanted to try something different. Walked in looked at the menu and was like oh yeah this gonna be good. I ask the lady working at the front if the oxtail was good. Shes like yeah its good. I asked her if two other things were good. Shes like ya its good.

Let me start by saying i love Jamaican food but this was a miss for me. I got the jerk chicken with mac and cheese and rice and although the flavors were there, this dark meat was so dry and over cooked i literally could not finish it. Im still baffled cause I don’t know how this happens with dark meat but i paid almost $20 for some DRY a** chicken. I couldn’t even eat half of it because it was stale like they cooked it the day before, reheated it (i really think that’s what they did) and sold it to me, just crusty. The rice is nothing memorable, just a little dry but that mac and cheese was fire tho. Literally the only good part about it and the only reason i gave it a star.
