We ordered the Brown Stew Fish and the Jerk Shrimp. Both were fantastic! I love the slight kick from the scotch bonnet peppers in the fish. Everything was cooked to perfection. Definitely will be revisiting this place.

Ordered medium oxtails because I didn’t want to get it and feel as if I waisted 20 dollars on a large . Tasted verrrryyy bland not falling off the bone . The white rice was ok not tasty just ok because it was no flavor to the rice. The butter beans were not cooked down properly . The meat gravy just taste like a gravy package. No real flavor here. Just bland only thing I loved were the carrot dumplings. That’s it. I travel all over tasting different Jamaican food and this one I will never get oxtails again

I visited the location in Vernon CT on Hartford Turnpike for dinner. I ordered the large fried chicken meal and my husband had the large jerk chicken meal. I have NEVER had Jamaican fried chicken like this EVER before! The coating on the chicken was like rock stone, the inside was very dry and bland. I was very disappointed with the food I received and the amount of money spent. My husband said his chicken was very dry as well. The only thing that was good was the oxtail gravy that I had on the rice and peas. The rice and cabbage was ok.

This has to be my least favorite Jamaican spot, if you think this food is good think again because there are way better places. Their meat is never tender and juicy. Just dry and hard to chew. This is a place you come to if you’re high, drunk or just need a quick bite to curve hunger. No ma’am No sir!! You guys need a chef that actually cares.

I just came from there and the server behaved like she was bothered that I came in there. No positive energy or hospitality. Only sides were rice and peas and cabbage. There wasnt any sea moss, peanut punch, or carrot juice.

Ordered a medium oxtail with veggies and no rice. First of all, I was punished for not wanting rice and was charged $2 extra. then I was giving watery veggies with 4 pieces of oxtail. it tasted like Splenda. I hope it was a one bad experience and they’re better than what I experienced.

This is a covid 19 take out review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. This was my first foray into Jamaican food and man have I been missing out. I got a variety of items to try. The small chicken stew was loaded with flavor and was enough for a meal on its own. The plantains were very good. I thoroughly enjoyed both the chicken and beef meat patties. The fritter was very good. And the jerk chicken sandwich was exceptional. The people inside were very friendly and helpful. Well worth the trip to get here and give it a try. On a scale of 1-10 this is a 9

Ordered from this place in the past and I’ve never been disappointed until now. I’m writing because I used door dash and can’t get my money refunded. I’ve never had an issue using Uber eats. No meat on one order. And I’m not sure why this was the only cheese on my order of bun and cheese.
