This is my favorite comfort food. It has quality, portions, variety and kindness backing it up. It is consistent. But what I respect most is this: While all the restaurants up and down Folly Road are raising their prices every 3 months and milking every drop, Fire Grill stays the same. I respect that. The arrogance of Charleston restaurants and their pricing scheme is wearing thin for me. Fire Grill, at least, is doing their part.

I’ve been a few times now and it’s pretty consistent. The food is hot and fresh every single time I’ve ordered it. I personally like it. It’s not the best I’ve ever had by any means but it is very consistent and reasonably priced. I’ve had the lo mein, which is a little runnier than normal, but full of veggies and meat. It’s a good portion size. I’ve also tried the hibachi plates and those are pretty good as well. I wasn’t super impressed with the sushi but it wasn’t necessarily bad. Overall, it’s a quick and easy lunch or dinner spot that won’t break the bank.

Amazing food! Ordered last week (chicken bowl, shrimp lo mein and telfair roll) it was so good that we ordered some again tonight! Fresh, Fast and very friendly. This will be my go to place for hibachi! Prices are very reasonable also.

We ordered the hibachi chicken dinner and the hibachi chicken & steak dinner. The order was incorrect… we didn’t receive any steak. The food was pretty tasty but the chicken was definitely over cooked. I would give the food 3 out of 5 stars. The portion size 5 out of 5.
