Staff are somewhat dismissive, well appointed dining area, some of the food was great while other bits a bit disappointing. Convenient location for hotel goers. Not the most convenient hours.

We had the breakfast buffet 2 days while staying at the doubletree. Thr scrambled eggs were very good. They had a selection of crispy as well as regular bacon. The Oatmeal was very good & they had yogurt & fruit besides. The servers both days were very pleasant and even filled my Yeti with coffee before heading out. Very pleasant experience both days.

Nice restaurant in the base of the hotel, a little pricey however the service is fantastic and the food is on par. The restaurant could use a decor update and or a deep clean.

We decided to give Jameson’s Original Charhouse a try while on a business trip. We visited on a Tuesday evening so the place was pretty dead. Our waiter Dino was super attentive. I ordered the 28 oz. Ribeye with a wedge salad & veggies (pictured) The steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor! My sister ordered mac n cheese as her side and none of us liked it. It tasted very basic. I have recommended this spot to others because the steak is one of a kind!

This place is AWFUL for a casual night out. My partner and I stopped by for dinner after a day of travel. The experience was terrible from the very start. We walked in and stood for far too long while workers conversed amongst themselves. When they finally got around to greeting us, we were led to our seat with a frown and an attitude. We then sat for at least 10min before the bartender came to take our order. Our waiter had the worst mood our entire stay. He forgot to bring items and I can’t remember him smiling even once. Then the food was absolutely terrible. We could literally taste the packaging it was wrapped in. This was my first taste of Chicago and it was terrible. This staff needs to be retrained or replaced quickly!

1st class service and the convenience can’t be beat(next to hotel & concert venue). Ricardo provided excellent service. Our meals were cooked to perfection. The macadamia encrusted tilapia was delicious and the fresh bread was a bonus.

Food was great. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. Dinner hours do get busy so be prepared for a wait if you do not have a reservation. The Ribeye steak was great. It came out perfectly cooked. The cream of potato soup was very good. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The meal also comes with a side salad along with the soup and choice of side with your steak. Prices are fair and much cheaper than you would pay at a traditional steak house. The quality of the meat is great. The drinks are strong and flavorful. You get a lot of food for a great price; I spent about $100 for dinner and a drink for two including tip. I would recommend this restaurant. Parking is ample. Restaurant is clean.

Lovely place to go to for an impromptu date! The French onion soup (not pictured) is an absolute must. Service was ok, we had another server give us warmed bread before the appetizer came. We definitely will go back!

My family and I – a party of 7 adults – celebrated Father’s Day with dinner at Jameson’s Charhouse in Skokie, IL, and it was a wonderful experience! Despite the fact that most of our group arrived late for our reservation, the restaurant held our table for over 20 minutes – thank you! We had a fantastic server, Eric, who was assisted by a younger associate towards the end of our meal. They were highly professional, rendering excellent and attentive service. We ordered cocktails at the outset: my wife, a mango margarita, and I, a house Manhattan, $10 each. Both were quite good, but the size was a bit smaller than I would have liked (and expected). For a starter, I chose the baked French onion soup, which was very tasty, with a generous dollop of gruyere cheese. My wife and I ordered one of the special entrees, the 12oz prime rib with roasted potatoes, $37. Both orders came “well-done,” but I had requested “medium-well.” The cuts were tender but could have been a bit moister. We then capped off the meal with cheesecake and carrot cake, both delicious.
