Stopped in to eat had to flag a waitress down to get menus and silverware not a problem because they was a little busy. Ordered a country ham sandwich waited about 30 minutes before they brought the food. Upon looking at the sandwich it was not country ham it was city ham. Got the waitresses attention and she took it back discussed it with another employee while eyeing me down. Brought it back to the table and told me they had ran out of country ham so they used city. Which wouldn’t have been a problem if they had explained that to me and ask if it was okay, but instead they tried to sneak it in on me. Needless to say I told them I didn’t want it. They asked if I wanted something else I told them no because my family already had their food.

Every time I take a ride on the Blue Ridge this is my go to place to eat. They’re fried green tomatoes rule! Friendly service, fair prices, and generous helpings makes Jane’s #1 in my book.

Little country restaurant just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Staff was super friendly. Fried green tomatoes were super. Burgers recommended. Fried catfish was very good too. Slaw – not so much. Salad was weak.
