Locally owned and operated, Janice actually works in the kitchen! . This is a great place for a great “home cooked” meal. I was hungry for biscuits and gravy and they did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and attentive! Located close to the highway-way off and on with plenty of parking. Worth stopping by!

Great place to stop for a meal, located right off I-40. We stopped for lunch while on the road and the food was very good. My husband had a cheeseburger, and I had the catfish plate. You get 3 huge pices of catfish, fried perfectly, not greasy. You also get a bowl of pinto beans, choice of potatoes, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious and the staff were all friendly.

Can we talk about this small town gem?!?!!! Passing through on our drive back to Ohio and googled “best breakfast near me” and Janice’s Cafe came up. Stopped in with my husband and three teenagers. WINNER! All three teens loved the food, that’s hard to accomplish! We met Janice, saw local folks enjoying their food and cracking jokes with her as well. America, this is our America! If, we are ever back that way, we will stop back in!

On the way to Arkansas and stopped at this charming little diner. Highly recommend stopping here especially if you have been on the road all day. Foods great comes out fast and hot. Waitress is polite and helpful 10/10 would stop here again

Very good atmosphere and food was delicious. Mashed potatoes were real potatoes, boiled and mashed, not out of a box. Breakfast all day and a sandwich or full dinner meal if you want. The owner is there working alongside everyone else, very hard to give us the best experience possible. Love it and making it our new place to go.

This is the last time coming here. Fries were soggy with grease and no taste. She made it a point to come and ask what I wanted on my burger and it was still wrong.i asked for ranch and she took it from the table next to us do it was warm. Our waitress was very nice and she understood when we explained the issues and told her we were just going to leave.

The food is incredible and homemade (which is key nowadays with all the synthetic and bioengineered food around). The customer service is incredible. There’s even some pokestops near by to play while you eat if you or your kids are into that. In Elk City, this is the place you want to eat at.
