We unexpectedly visited this place today, on a Saturday around lunchtime. I’m glad we found it before entering the botanical garden. Parking was a breeze. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Beef Kefta Kabob, rice, and side salad were filling and delicious for me. I cleaned my plate. My son enjoyed the Margherita Pizza with chicken added. It was a little expensive to add chicken, but worth it. Overall, the prices are good and the ambiance is relaxing. The bathrooms were clean and welcoming. I do wish the stalls had a barrier on the side of the door hinges.

Lunch at Jardín was perfect! Came in with my partner and our two year old. After a lovely morning playing among the gardens, we were famished and then replenished!

I took my daughter to the gardens the other day at lunchtime and decided to eat here. Let me just say that I ordered the salmon and it has been the best meal i have had since we moved to San Antonio over a year ago. The service was okay but the food was outstanding!

This is some of the best food I’ve had in San Antonio, fantastic atmosphere and staff as well! The lamb burger, and tomato jam grilled cheese, and the arancini were some of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely make a point to stop here while going the the botanical garden!

Jardin restaurant catapults one experience into another country setting, airy, european country. The mediterranean menu is outstandingly appealing. Makes one want to come back & taste each. We started on Roasted Cauliflower & artichoke focaccia pizza. The toum cream over pizza is quite a delight originating from Lebanese dish. Beef kefta kebab was tender & filling with rice pilaf. And although its a small plate seemingly complete with radicchio & lettuce. My slow braised lamb w arugula is filling & overly dull w a lot of pasta. Thank goodness the cheesecake for two killed that dull taste & accompanied by coffee

This was such a nice experience. We spent the last day of restaurant week here out on the patio. Even though it is 100° the fans and the shade were refreshing. The food was beautiful, tasty, and definitely very high-quality. I would recommend this to anyone interested in going to the botanical gardens… But also anyone who just wants to have a great meal and a beautiful setting.

Place was nice and food was good! We did find it funny how they charge $2 for a few pita chips. The wine was fine; they have a very limited selection.

Absolutely the worst food I have ever been served at a restaurant. I’m not one to leave reviews for poor food or service, but this was terrible. They charged $50 for a school cafeteria style sandwich with one slice of meat, and an “Oil Cake” which was an extremely dry cornbread muffin with flavorless cream on top. They also charged a 20% gratuity for poor service. Waited 15 minutes before our server showed up and we got our food before we even got water. Don’t know why this place is rated so highly. Reviews are fake or people are lying to themselves. 0/10.

This place is a solid okay. Nothing bad about it. But nothing great either. Best thing was definitely the service. And the service was as good as they could make it. Servers can’t overcome a bad kitchen.
