Java Hut is a local-owned drive-thru coffee shop in Decherd, TN. We offer a wide range of coffee and espresso beverages including hot and iced lattes, frappes and specialty drinks, as well as smoothies, energy refreshers, protein shakes, and lots of other treats. Intending to add a taste of Seattle to our community, we opened in 2012 and have been serving our wonderful community ever since.

Staff are really friendly and offered suggestions that I wouldn’t have thought of. I like the mothcha tea, and the friendly lady that was helping me suggested I put in either a shot of strawberry or mango puree. The strawberry was really good.

I go there as often as I can and I’ve never had a bad experience with Java Hut, literally NOWHERE else compares to what they make. I love pretty much every staff member I’ve interacted with, they’ve all always been incredibly nice. I believe I’ve also met the owner’s daughter a few weeks ago? I could be wrong on her relation but I remember how cheerful she was, you all always make my day 😀

I’m from Minnesota and we’re down visiting Jack Daniels.. I needed coffee and I read all the reviews of this place so we tried it…. I have to say the girls that were working were WONDERFUL…they helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and they were so kind. I would recommend this place to everyone and on a sidenote, the best coffee ever..!!!!

I consider myself one of the original fans of the Hut. After moving away from the area for college, I was home one weekend and to my disbelief I spotted this little shack that could only mean one thing….COFFEE! And it was that good coffee, not the watered down coffee flavored hot milk you get at most places. Before Java Hut, the best coffee you could get was at a gas station. To say we needed this place is an understatement. Over the years, it’s become my go-to! I will drive plum past 3 coffee shops just to get “my” drink. I don’t even have to tell them my order anymore. At this point, I think it’s part of the training package. Now I will warn you. The place is not a secret anymore. Like any good spot, it usually has a line, especially in the mornings. The gals keep the line moving though and will always greet you with a smile and a consistently delicious brew!

Absolutely LOVE this coffee shop. The owners are wonderful people, and the drinks never disappoint. Not to mention they have the most friendly staff. I stop if Stephanie is working no matter if i have a coffee craving or not. Perfect addition to any day, caffiene AND a friendly face.

I love this place!! If I do not make coffee at home, I usually ONLY go to Java Hut!! You should try the Dalmatian latte, or Cherry Cordial latte!! SO amazing! Girls are so friendly, and if you go so much they remember you, and what you usually order!
