We were visiting Racine and decided to try Javier’s and we were not disappointed. We both had the chicken and shrimp fajitas after we had the table side guacamole. The food was excellent!! Our server, Joanna was excellent as well!! We highly recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food!!

Food was good as always. I was a little chilly today and decided to order the Clam Chowder which was a special. When I think of special I’m thinking ok it must be on sale today. Why did I get my bill and it stated the soup was $8.50 Not happy at all.

We went there for Cinco De Mayo. It was very festive and very crowded. We didn’t have to wait long,tho. The server recommended a special meal not on the menu. It sounded good,so we ordered that. It was very good! But,sticker shock when we got the bill. We’ll go back there, but we know to order from the menu from now on.

This was my first time here. The food was fantastic. There was a small mix-up in having our server assigned. However, the service by Emillio quickly made up for it. I’ll be looking forward to trying other menu items. The fajitas were great. My picky family had nothing but good things to say about the food. They can be hard to please. Oh, and I have to mention, the salsa for the chips was fresh and delicious.

Staff was very nice! However the food was very sub par. My enchiladas were soooo greasy. They left almost a film of grease after I put them in a to go box. (pictured) And for their pretty expensive prices, I was not very impressed. Probably won’t be going back.

Fantastic family owned, authentic (as best as an Irishman can tell) Mexican restaurant. We eat here regularly (Chicken Fajitas) and my Wife has a strong Gluten sensitivity; they’re very responsive and she’s never had a problem there! My very favorite are the Seafood burritos, but you better be hungry because the proportions are generous. The table side guacamole service completes the experience.
