Since I moved here from the mainland I have been searching for an authentic Mexican restaurant and Javi’s Mexican Grill is the real deal, in my opinion! We had street taco plate and burrito plate, both steak and so tasty. Their salsa was so good and the guacamole was perfection! This is the only Mexican place on the island I will go to!

This place should be packed and somehow it wasn’t. The food was great and more than that, they aren’t price gouging like every place in existence these days. Meals were like 15 to 18 bucks and good portions. Meanwhile Burger joints out there selling a hamburger for 22 bucks.

I’m going to start saying that the restaurant was super clean and the decorations are awesome it made me feel like I was in Mexico. Now the food was great really good fajitas and burritos (the burrito was really big) I really enjoy the food and definitely will come back. The waitress was nice and service was awesome can’t complain. The orchata was really good. The dining room is small or medium size and I liked it. I really recommend this place if you are looking to eat really good Mexican food.

It is hard to find good Mexican on Oahu but we finally found our spot! Husband’s chimichanga was amazing. My shredded beef burrito was amazing. You have to pay for chips & salsa but they give you a sm bowl of excellent salsa, not one of those tiny cups. Absolutely going back!

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but there was just a couple things that made me not. I wish I could’ve gave this place 5 stars. First off, the person that takes the orders are super friendly. He makes you feel welcomed. Also, the restaurant is really clean!
