*Update* after coming here for the second time. Once again the Brisket was much more dryer than the first time I had it smoke flavor was definitely there. Ribs is still my favorite thing to order here. Perfect smoke flavor. Cooked to perfection fall off the bone. The spicy BBQ sauce is too!

We visited on my Birthday with my Grandchildren that never had Brisket before, youngest is 3 and said it was delicious! I have to say all of the food was top notch and reminded me of Texas home cooked Brisket by our family. Perfection in my opinion.

This BBQ shop is located inside the structure that houses other restaurant and bar besides The shop. Building is located across from Anaheim Packing District. We ordered some meats and sides as a group. Smoked BBQ pork was good but it was a little dry. Sides were a hit and miss. Some of the good BBQ selections were already sold out so maybe what was served to us was not the shop favorites. You order as takeout and can take home the goodies or eat at the tables setup in the middle of the main gallery.

The wife and I love this place. Friendly staff. The pit-master knows what he’s doing. The the nacho fries (sub brisket) are great. haven’t had a bad plate here yet. But out everything I recommend the beef rib. It had the perfect smoke ring when I cut into it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐’s all the way. Doesn’t hurt that they shares wall with a wine bar and brewery.

Wow, that was really good with generous portions. The brisket was probably the best I have had so far. The coleslaw has a really good and unique taste. The sausage was spicy and very tasty. The tritip is done just right. I will definitely be going back to try other meats.

My husband found this place on YELP since we where looking for a place to eat near Disney before we headed back to SD, I ordered the pulled pork fries and they were DELICIOUS!! My husband ordered the Meal with the Ribs and the meat was just perfectly made, not to mention the atmosphere is great!! Def will be stoping by during my next visit near Anaheim.

Ribs were dry and very chewy. The worse is the tri tip.. very very chewy without flavor. glad I ordered some sausages at least those come naturally flavored.

These people are surely doing Gods work. Tucked away next to Anaheims Packing District at Make. In between a wine bar and brewery, Jav’s Bbq serves some of the best meat I have EVER had in my mouth. I got to enjoy the brisket and tri tip on their 2 meat plate with sides of mac and cheese(a must have) and mashed potatoes. The brisket was like meat butter melting on my plate and mouth and the tri tip had a delicious smoke ring flavoring the meat to the core. Thank you, please keep doing what you do.
