This quaint restaurant has a lot of things figured out. Their food is top notch, menu is approachable and enjoyable and service is first class. You order first, and then sit down, which is a newer concept, but it works. Much quicker time to get your food, and the staff is so attentive, that you feel like you are getting full service.

The Luca salad is phenomenal, seriously so delicious that the whole family stole it from me! The pizza crust is excellent and the sauce that comes with the bread service is amazing. The customer service was impressive, genuinely kind, helpful and friendly. I Highly recommend this place, the only thing we didn’t love was the plant based Alfredo.

Terrific and tasty casual Italian with a delightful twist. Have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. The staff, from the counter to servers are all friendly and helpful with great personalities. Salads such as “Don’t Kale My Vibe” or pizza including “Green Eyes Bianca” are quite good. Homemade pasta is equally delicious. Everything is fresh and made-to-order, tap beer is cold and wine choices are ample. Jay Luigi is definitely among our favorite go-to places in St. Pete.

Great causal place for authentic Italian. Pay your 20% tip at the counter when you order because they bring you everything and clean up the same way one would if they waited on you at your table. I got the Caccio e Pepe and my wife got the Meatballs while we split a Luca salad. Very delicious. Service was prompt and the attitude was nice. The atmosphere wasn’t the best but I knew that going in.

This is my partner and I’s new favorite restaurant in St. Pete. Seriously a diamond in the rough. Amazing quality food and environment but isn’t ridiculously overpriced. I prefer to eat non-dairy and you can turn most of the dishes vegan. As someone who has tried a few appetizers and entrees of each (regular and vegan) everything so far has been great.

I manage the Bed Pros Mattress, to the left of Jays if you are facing the business, and I have to say as one picky foodie- the management, staff, and FOOD are top notch quality. I enjoy managing a store in the same area of this business, and can’t recommend the Caesar salad enough. Tell them Rachael from Bed Pros sent you for a little extra love! Thank you so much Jay Luigi’s, for being such a great neighbor and business, and not skimping on fresh ingredients. Salute!

I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting much at first. I’m not a big fan of counter service places, and was a little confused why they bothered as it made us feel rushed to try to figure out the menu for the first time with others in line behind us. Also, after ordering, there was full table service – so I was a little confused at what advantage they were getting. But I have to admit, the food was really good. We had the Pizza Romana which was the perfect size for two of us – but most would probably feel that it is a little on the small side. It’s nice to get something other than traditional New York style pizza – although they have that on the menu as well. All in all we were pleasantly surprised and will be back.

The food was delicious. The counter serve thing is weird. I understand how it’s way more efficient for the restaurant, but I also felt like I missed out on the restaurant experience. Felt like I was eating some A+ Italian but at a Chipotle store. The food is good enough that I’m not taking any stars off though.

This spot was fabulous! From the moment we walked in we felt the family warmth of an Italian restaurant. The staff were all kind, knowledgeable, and provided wonderful service. Everything we ate was delicious! We appreciated the thought that went into the menu, as well as the unique ingredients they chose to use. From the appetizers to the pizzas we enjoyed every bite. I also appreciate their local + seasonal drinks in addition to their other variety of options. We truly appreciated the owners + their friendliness. We will definitely be back!
