Jay Kitchen is a good place to eat. The food is outstanding, and the service. the breakfast is spectacular. The grits are so delicious, just like mommy used to cook. The burgers are the best in town.

Good food but it takes time. I suggest calling ahead if you in a hurry. Old school hospitality and charm. Looks like a local family favorite. Eat in or get it to go..

Hidden Gem that should be broadcast on one of those TV shows. I had the double bacon burger with fries that are made like I used eat them when I was a kid. This is a small place with friendly people the food I had here was perfect everybody’s plates were empty lol. If you drove by this place and looked at it as a local hole in the wall…. you missed out on a great place to eat. If you haven’t been here and you are in the area drop by and eat and I guarantee you’ll be leaving a 5 star review.

Oh my goodness. If you have never had a chili-coleslaw cheeseburger, you GOTTA go to Jay’s Country Kitchen and get you one today. My hubby and I were on our way from the beach back to the mountains and came across this little gem and decided to stop. The ground beef was fresh and the burger had plenty of it. When our server asked if we wanted it “all the way,” I thought she meant the usual stuff like mayo, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, etc. I had no idea it meant chili and slaw. When it came out, I was like, “What is this?” And then I floated to the ceiling and back down again with every lovin’ bite. I wished it would have lasted forever, but being the hamburger that it was, it didn’t oblige me and was gone in a matter of minutes. Oh, and the fries were from fresh-cut taters too. The service was top-notch and the staff was friendly. Ima telling you … GO EAT HERE!! NOMITY NOM NOM!!!
