When traveling do you seek local flavor? If you want to eat where the locals eat at a place that cares more about the food and rich experience than trying to impress with over the top decor – look no further. I saw the blue awning and I hesitated. But so glad we went.

Amazing Italian food! Meals include soup or salad which is unusual these days and really nice. Therefore, I think you can’t complain about the prices, although I don’t like the extra sur charge restaurants are sneaking in these days instead of raising their prices. Excellent service. Reasonably priced and good house wine. Minestrone soup and the house salad were very yummy. As was the lasagna and the fettuccine alfredo. The garlic bread was too good. Large portions. A great new find for Italian!

I’ve been coming here for over 30 years, had everything on the menu. It slipped my mind to leave a review. Both Jays and their sister restaurant, Dominick’s in Escondido are my favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego . Everything is excellent, especially marsala dishes.

oh my gosh! we had mother’s day dinner here and it was SO GOOD! my mom had the chicken alfredo and it was so creamy and tasted so yummy. i had the shrimp parm and it was great! brandy helped us out and she was so sweet! you won’t regret coming here

BEST ITALIAN FOOD EVER!!!!! It definitely was a little pricey but the food and service was a 10/10! The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious, the bread was to die for, and the clams…don’t even get me started, I wish I could have drunken the sauce!

Been here twice, once for pizza, second time for seafood. Holy ****. We accidentally ordered a full plate of everything (picture). It’s massive. If you want to try ALL seafood in one plate – this is the plate. Disclosure, it’s not cheap, what is these days? 🙂
