Best food in town. A lot of recent upgrades to the restaurant and new additions to the food which made the already amazing food incredible. More than likely due to new management. We were driving down I80 near New Lenox and saw a billboard for White Horse Inn. Just as we got to the Rt 30 exit, traffic was almost at a stand still, so we got off to have lunch. The waitress and bar tender were super friendly and told us which was there favorite menu items. We both ended up ordering burgers, they were fantastic. I got fries with mine and he had an order of onion rings & a soup. The fries were excellent, the onion rings were very good and he enjoyed his broccoli & cheese soup. Over all it was a lovely lunch and we would definitely come in again.

The servers are always great so this is not directed towards them. However, management is extremely rude and just plain mean. Today one of the doors was propped open and I heard someone from across the bar complain about it being cold (understandably, it was freezing). Instead of closing the door, the lady behind the bar said “sorry some of us are working. Maybe bring a coat next time”. That’s how you talk to your customers? It was the old lady behind the bar, not the younger one who has served us in the past. She’s great. This is not the first time I’ve seen this kind of behavior coming from her and other management. This also probably explains their high server turnover rate, because who would want to work for rude people. Can’t wait to see their sarcastic response!
