I had a pork sandwich. I ordered the regular size one (they have a large too). Mine was still a gigantic sandwich. It was very fresh, extremely tasty, and the meat was tender. Best pork sandwich I have had! The fries were also good and the price reasonable. Friendly staff and a clean dining area. Restroom was clean too!

This is a wonderful place to pick up some great barbecue! I love the casual atmosphere and friendly customer service, and it’s very conveniently-located right next to downtown Watkinsville. I would recommend the ribs, which are fall-off-the-bone delicious. The macaroni and cheese is also some of the best I’ve ever eaten. This is a great local restaurant to support; I’d highly recommend giving it a try!

Good pulled pork. Good sized portions. However, the brisket was dry and the ribs weren’t going to be ready for 2 hrs. The place opened at 11am on Saturday. If you open at 11am why wouldn’t you have everything ready to order by 12pm? Just saying.

Service was good. Friendly staff. The food needs improvement. The meat was blah and dry. It needed move flavor. A better dry rub or it needed to be smoked longer. The Brunswick Stew was just terrible. And some of the sauces were blah. We won’t eat here ever again.

Wow . I’m pretty tough on folks that serve BBQ Beef Brisket. However JB’s sliced brisket plate was great! Very moist and not over cooked. They leave the sauce on the side so you’re not committed to a sauce you don’t like. Awesome Job JB’s Smokin’ Pig!

Pull pork sandwich was AMAZING….Baked beans are not my style (they have kidney beans add) & the okra, I think they’re baked which was okay. Now, the chicken was dry ass hell. Ass hell… I will definitely return for the pulled pork sandwich only.

BBQ was just ok. Coleslaw was bland. Mac and cheese… y’all should be ashamed… there is no cheese included in that, that is that powder fake cheese. Slimy slimy. I feel like I got robbed for nine dollars, I’m going to chicken express right now
