I’ve been ordering from here for a bit over a decade now. I live very close, & have ordered nearly everything on their menu, a lot of items more than once. Their sushi has been fresh & tasty. I’d say on two occasions, I had some sushi that wasn’t so great, but compared to how much sushi I’ve ordered from this place over the years, disliking any of my orders was a rare occurrence. I’m not a fan of their bubble teas, as they were made with powders.

The food was awful. The beef was tough, rubbery and flavorless. The gyoza super greasy, not fresh and again lacking flavor. I gave the entire meal to my dog. How does this place remain open?! Gross. All around.

Absolutely awful! I ordered for takout Spicy yellowtail roll…wasn’t tuna and wasn’t spicy, also order spicy crunchy tuna rolll they forgot to add the tuna!

Was there today for lunch ordered salmon salad rice n soup which she said I can’t have it I said I want it make it a side order she gave us no fork was cheap with only one napkin it wasn’t salmon we had to ask for forks when we got in no water or tea or even a hello she was rude and no eye contact very dismissive so don’t go there the salmon u get it not salmon and they don’t get customers because of the service from the cashier/ waitress server all in one green tea smelled like perfume I could drink it there are better ones I just made a mistake goin there with my friend without looking at their reviews

We were told we couldn’t sit inside (despite the place being nearly empty) and the staff was very rude about it. We were regular customers but not anymore. There is an amazing Japanese restaurant just behind Newport Mall. It’s much more worth your time.

Ordered sushi for delivery with my girlfriend and couple hours later started experiencing stomach pains. Momentarily after, my girlfriend started vomiting everything that we had just ate. There were no other factor than the sushi affecting our stomach pain. Please be careful eating here… this places sanitation level is up for question. I can’t see how they pass food inspection.

I was so happy to try a restaurant in JC close to home for my sashimi instead of a supermarket or market. I have Celiac disease and I ordered with my husband. I ordered sashimi al a cart, smoked salmon and salmon, 2 pieces each.. Weak, I got at least 3 in Manhattan. He ordered rainbow roll. They slopped it all together.. Gross. Not gd for me. The lady in front was not friendly for an empty restaurant. The sashimi smoked salmon wasn’t good, salmon was ok… My husband wasn’t happy at all… Boooooo… Need gd sashimi. Not happy.

The food was alright . I had the crazy tuna rolls and they were suppose to be crunchy but not all of them were. Some of them felt really soft . Worker seemed like she was ready for my friend and I to go ,and would come over for the check or just looked over at our table, so we paid and left .

Decent sushi. Horribly inaccurate wait times. If I’m told 20 minutes and I show up at 20, they make me wait another 15. If I show up after 30 instead, I still wait 15. Once they said 45 minutes, and I showed up exactly then, and waited another 10-20 more! It feels like they don’t even start making it until I walk in the door. Bizarrely, when I order delivery it sometimes shows up in 20 minutes flat! yet the restaurant is always empty and the kitchen never seems in a big fuss when I’m there. Not sure if it’s a lazy kitchen or mismanagement.
