JC’s is a dive bar that’s got some pretty decent food and a bunch of table games right in the heart of the Bend downtown area. It’s usually packed in here with a younger crowd, and the floor can be a little sticky from all the spilled drinks. Food and drinks are cheap which is nice, big portion sizes for food though. If you want greasy to fill your stomach before drinking, this is the place. The service isn’t bad, a little less friendly but I understand based off dealing with this crowd. Popular spot for bachelor and bachelorette parties.

The tots were so salty but came out piping hot. The bar area seemed cramped but the game area had plenty of space to move, however you can’t hear music on the game side. Idk if they turn it down or if all the talking makes it hard to hear it. Younger crowd, seemed to have fun.

I had a pretty poor experience at this bar due to the staff’s treatment and emailed them about it. I made the decision after that to not come here again because of how rude it was. I just wanted to say that the owners have taken the complains very seriously and have been exchanging multiple emails with me to understand and address the issue. This is what good ownership and management looks like and anyone who handles their business with that kind of responsibility and care is a step above the rest.

Didn’t have the food. Bartender was very helpful for a couple of out-of-towners.

Very friendly, great attentive service from bar tender /server, great audio for music and live sports.. great food to snack on. Look for drinks specials on different days. Must try the fried Twinkies. You can also play giant Jenga, giant connect four, play pool, and shuffle board. My wife and I enjoyed trying out all the games.. we will go back!

This was a welcome surprise. I’m still new to town, and I like the occasional dive bar and hadn’t really found a good one. This is one. Just enough away from the main drag. Great folks.

Jesus Christ was drinking beer there, or a least that’s what they think at the JC. Nice bar friendly service, less expensive drinks than others in Bend. We we there when they opened, had a few pops and moved on, outside seats and smoking, I like that.

A cool hangout spot that is busy enough to interact with others but enough space to have a small party of friends.

What?! A proper, unpretentious, blue-collar neighborhood watering hole in Bend, Oregon? Say it isn’t so! The Birkenstock store around the corner must be livid this place exists in their rarified aire. I’ll be back again. 3 proper low-brow stars. Any more would be doing this place a disservice.
