A modern look to an old standard. Originally one of the best, thin crust pizza joints in Bridgeport, Jennie has moved several times and now is on 111 in Monroe. They have maintained a solid quality product in a new setting. the seating is not as cozy as the old sit down restaurant but service is good and attentive. They still make a good pie using the thick and tasty sauce. the menu items are varied and has something everyone can enjoy.

Upon entering, I was not sure I had the right place. Dark exterior and was nit very inviting ,upon entering the restaurant staff great,food lovely but really noisy. Great for kids and family. Place could really do with a bit of updating but saying that food is great,thin light pizza,hot upon delivery with good quality product. Waitress absolute gem. Highly recommend for family outing

This is my favorite pizza & Italian restaurant! We always order from here…have been for years. I finally tried their dine-in restaurant…exceptional service, nice atmosphere, food is delicious as always. I definitely recommend! The only thing that threw me off was that, for a small venue that wasn’t full, it’s was super noisy. I could hardly hear the person sitting across from me, which was quite annoying and we didn’t talk much during our meal because we couldn’t hear eachother. Some noise dampening curtains would help immensely, since everything is hard surfaces and echoes. Other than that, it was an enjoyable meal, but I don’t think I’ll be going back for dine-in. Takeout only.

I chose to go back to Jennie’s after a family party to try different dishes. After trying squash blossoms, pasta, soup, clams my highlight was the artichoke francese. They served it to me burnt not edible. Mentioned it to waitress. She said she would tell them. They had nerve to charge me $12 after I didn’t eat them. Won’t be seeing me ever again. Gave waitress 30% tip. She was a sweetheart.

Great food; all their food is great from their pizzas, grinders, dinners, calzones & Especially their yearly Easter foods; ricotta pie, wheat pie, pizzagain(Italian meat pie), honey balls & Easter breads. We have been ordering all our favorite foods from Jennie’s for over 10 yrs. You can dine inside the restaurant or order take out, they do not deliver. I highly recommend giving Jennie’s Pizza a try. Their restaurant is clean & dinning room is very nice. Plenty of parking, along with handicap parking. Please give me a “Like” on this review.

Dropped in for a nice lunch with family on Saturday afternoon. Food was great, service was very attentive. I enjoyed a juicy burger and some delicious garlic knots. My wife said the pasta fagiul was almost as good as her own at home. That’s good… My daughter enjoyed some tasty salmon and my son had crispy chicken tenders. Sister in-law and Nana with a nice pizza. Good showing Jennie’s!

Simply rating on pizza alone and this place gets a top rating easily. Their pies are a very solid offering and one worth coming back for again. We ordered a half cheese half cherry pepper n hot oil(always a bonus on a menu)
