Our family and friends went out to dinner last night at Jennings because it’s one of our favorite places. We had 6 adults and 5 young kids. As a former server, I understand how our group could look a little overwhelming, but was quite surprised that the server showed such annoyance in her words and actions. She quickly told us that there was only one highchair after we arrived, and then, as we waited, told us to not let our kids get too rowdy or loud. Understandable but to say that to customers who, at this point had the group under control, gave us all the impression that we were not wanted there. After waiting a few minutes to see if another table would move, we decided that we would rather take food to go and sit across the street.

The wait time was very short and our server was very nice. It’s a nice environment to go with friends and hangout for a while. They have homemade chips and dip that are phenomenal! I recommend giving this place a try!

Tasty Wisconsin food, tables that are low and high top tables. Wisconsin bar food at its best, cheese curds are very good too. Decent drink menu and so many good options for food- you can’t pick something bad.

Today was my first time dining here. I had a garden salad and an order of cheese curds and I was completely full. The bar has a pub like atmosphere and was very busy for a midday Wednesday. I will have to return again soon and try some of the other items on their menu.

My wife and I both had the fish fry and it was amazing. The service was good. I think the tartar sauce was homemade and it was delicious.
