Canoeing down the Mississippi river and we’re exhausted from the hot August sun. Stopped in to a small diner and had our minds blown away by the quality and flavor. Top notch breakfast with what seemed like five eggs scrambled, fluffy and light but buttery and immensely filling at the same time. The sausage was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, a lite snap but delicate and soft on the inside. Peppered just enough for a tang, but not overpowering. Toast was perfectly cooked with a crisp light brown cook, and remained soft the entire meal because of the wonderfully warmed jelly and another good serving of butter. Just love this little place, pancakes are perfect and her desserts are really good. Price is right for any budget. Menu changes fit the seasons. Have not had anything yet I didn’t like. Very warm inviting down home feeling. Really like the staff too. Will always go back.
