We been at this establishment many times, each time the service was great, food was prepared and out to our table in short time, the food quality maintained at a high level. This was another place where we were too hungry to take picture. A must go place to enjoy ‘happy hour food and drinks. The only bad thing I will say is the parking situation, limited space for multiple establishments, street parking nearby hard to find, only one handicapped parking space. Not sure Jensai Sushi could do anything about it.

Been there many times. It was one of the places that I frequented quite often during the pandemic because I wanted to help them stay open. I have noticed some changes in both quality and portion size now that the United States is starting to open again so that’s disappointing. I won’t go as much now as I did but the owner is a really nice guy and the happy hour is a decent value.

Stumbled upon this place and it did not disappoint. They have a bento box lunch special which is very affordable (a rarity these days). The food was great and even more so the service was great. The server was very friendly. I greatly appreciate a restaurant with great service and great food. I’ll be back Jensai!

Tbh I’m not sure how this place is 4.5 stars. It’s subpar. I can eat the same or better quality at Bento Box for less. They put very little fish on the rolls. There were even a couple of slices of the roll where there was no fish. I tried the Dragon Roll and the Golden Trio. The service was good though! We had a very sweet server. I was pretty disappointed in the food overall and wouldn’t come back.

I ordered sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, spam musubi and yakisoba. All the dishes were perfectly cooked to my exact order. Flavors are wonderful. Portion to price ratio is outstanding. I highly recommend this business in the midtown Sacramento area.

Great sushi for dinner is the best prices I’ve ever seen on Sacramento sushi. Also add-on items to rolls are cheaper than most places. They do custom rolls and their service is on point. Recommended.

Came in on a Saturday at around 9 and ordered the baked mussels as an appetizer and the golden trio and golden gate (pictured). I personally only tasted the mussels and golden trio and WOW. I’m blown away. First time trying mussels and I fell in love, so much yummy goodness in the garlic sauce. My roll was fresh and perfect. Staff was attentive at all times. Definitely recommend.
