Ordered from this restaurant via Uber eats bc our truck was getting a PM service so, we had a little picnic. Food arrived hot and fast. Flavors were phenomenal! I had the brown stewed chicken with cabbage and red beans and rice. Husband had the jerk chicken (always my choice, but wanted to try something different). Both were packed with amazing flavor and great portion sizes. Pics aren’t the best, but the food was great!

Jerk Flavour restaurant & Lounge offers a large menu. I’d like to add value to restaurants and give honest reviews because I value food & it’s part of my ethnic background. I would love to give this place a five star review and there’s only two reasons why I haven’t. One being that the oxtail that I ate today was very tender & had a lot of original flavor yet it was very salty and gave my wife high blood pressure I would’ve liked if the green beans had been fresh but the rice and beans was OK. The other reason being that the lady who took her order had some sort of attitude problem like she sat on something this morning and didn’t like the way it felt. Other than that Jerk Flavour restaurant & Lounge has potential and could be a great place to get together with your friends and family. They’re also going to be hosting events and Offer a full Bar.

FOOD: the food is amazingly delicious! i got a jerk mixed dinner. the chicken was seasoned w/ a lil heat. i didn’t need to add any jerk sauce to it! the cabbage was good and seasoned. cooked perfectly. the macaroni was good as well. the only thing i didn’t like is that you get rice & beans w/ only 1 other side. that’s fine and all, but you don’t receive any of the jerk bread! at least add bread since you only have one side that comes with the dinner!

I ordered Jerk wings, cabbage & yams..The food was hot..it was precooked. When she warmed up the chicken, she overcook it and it looked old…so I returned them. The customer service was kinda rude. But, they finally replaced it!..If I am going to pay for something I want what I pay for!! Not some dried up old wings. They did replace it with better chicken. I was pleased

The food is hit or miss on taste, but usually fresh so I return. The customer service however is mostly a miss. There’s only been one occasion where the person taking the order was pleasant, every other time there’s a rude/stank attitudinal individual. Can’t understand how a business can’t comprehend that customer service is a huge part of any business, especially when patrons are spending their hard earned $$ (and I’m not speaking on behalf of ignorant customers). With the food being okay for the most part, not amazing, rude employees make this place easy to pass by.

Not bad but not good either. It had an okay taste but was extra dry. I have the jerk chicken Alfredo and the Mac. The Mac was basically just noodles with cheese dust on it that’s how dry it was lol but not a bad taste I guess. The Alfredo was just about as dry and hardly any chicken. I’ll just cook myself next time.

My wife and I are on our honeymoon in Chicago doing it up as best as we can visiting several restaurants the ledge at the Willis / Sears Tower and then my wife had a taste for Caribbean food in particular oxtails red beans and rice which made me want curry goat so we visited jerk House in Markham Illinois and my God you talking about off the chain excellent The food was phenomenal The service was on point the flavor just jumps out at you we are both extremely satisfied and had food left over that we could not finish which is very rare I highly recommend jerk house in Markham Illinois My wife and I say you will be very happy In fact extremely happy
