The location was nice. Customer service was great. My red snapper was not fresh, When I went to eat my fish, it was hard like it was just sitting there and got warm up when an order came through. Was very disappointed in that. Usually, you can’t go wrong with fish & if im paying 20 something dollars for red snapper, it should come out fresh and hot. Not hard and dry up.

I was bamboozled, this place is not authentic at all. The oxtails had no flavor and the Mac n cheese was the worst I ever tasted. The mac literally tasted like they use American cheese slices. I’m highly disappointed! As I was leaving there were some Jamaicans who ordered the curry goat, they took one bite and threw it in the garbage! 0/10 do not recommend.

Went here tonight and the food was delicious. I got the jerk chicken (white meat), rice and peas, coco bread, and jerk wings. Very flavorful, had a nice kick, and a great price. The atmosphere was nice, good music, and a heated area to sit and eat. Ordered my food, it only took about 10 minutes to get, it was hot, and bought to the table. The owner was amazing and made sure that everything was perfect. Definitely recommend and I will be back!

This is by far the best Jamaican food I’ve had in the DMV, and I’ve eaten at several different spots. The portions are so amazing, the price is reasonable, the service is good, the flavor of the food?? Is so amazing, I strongly suggest for people to eat at this spot, they absolutely knock it out the park. My girlfriend got the oxtail and I got the curry chicken, and both were absolutely perfect. The plantain and patties are amazing as well. The food was fresh and hot, like too hot to carry, when we picked it up, so we knew it was recently made. Please go here!!

The food was honestly the worst I’ve had in years! I paid almost $50.00 for garbage. The “jerk pork “was mostly fat and the little meat that was served was tasteless. The “jerk chicken” was even worse. For all my Caribbean folks or people who like good food. I promise you, if you decide to try this place out, you’ll be thoroughly disappointed. Take my advice, save your money and go elsewhere.

Delicious and lovely owner!! We had the curry goat, jerk shrimp, and whole red snapper. Absolutely delicious and so flavorful. Fun dancehall music was playing. There’s no indoor eating area but the patio was enclosed and warm enough to hang out and eat for a while. In the summer the patio will be amazing – will be back!!

OMG sooo good! My husband and I had some delicious food at the jerk house this evening. Fried snapper, curry shrimp, rice and peas (moro ), steamed cabbage and some bomb Mac and cheese. The owner, Nick, is such a nice guy! Thank you Nick and your wife for the amazing food and service. We will be back again soon!

Delicious food, authentic Jamaican food, and average customer service. I tried the Red Snapper con arroz y habicuelas y tostones. Freshly seasoned fish, it came with plantains, side salad, white rice and black beans. Reasonable menu prices and indoor patio seating available. I will return to try more options on the menu!
