No consistency, one minute it taste near to jerk other days it just taste like chicken and peas & rice. Jerk Chicken must have spice and if there’s no spice (scotch bonnet) flavor you might as well call it any type of chicken except jerk chicken. If you don’t use scotch bonnet, pepper should be free of charge. Jerk chicken has to have pepper. Most of these restaurants put Jerk on their sign but it’s not Jerk it’s something else. The customer service needs improvement, she wasn’t rude to me but their tone wasn’t quite polite.

First time ordering dinner. The jerk chicken meal was awesome! It came w rice n peas (with curry gravy) and plantains and some veg on the side. I got extra jerk sauce (recommend). It comes in small and large (pictured is the large meal). Chicken was so fresh w nice jerk skins. The rice n curry gravy was solid.

It’s so sad that Jamaican restaurants seem to be in competition to see who can have the nastiest attitude! I simply asked the girl that took my order if the chicken was made on a grill or in the oven & she literally paused.. took a breath & said it was made on the grill. Now I got to my car & in my hands is oven jerked chicken lol. It’s the attitude & the fact that she lied like I wouldn’t find out… the food wasn’t bad… but I prefer my jerk chicken grilled! So for the lying & the bad attitude they’re getting 1 star. Fuq’dem.

Jerk Hut has plenty of options that a lot of restaurants nearby don’t, especially when it comes to seafood. They prefer you call in advance since they serve it fresh which I also like. My personal favorite is the jerk salmon, and their vegetarian patties are also pretty great!
