This place is a fantastic vegan burger joint! Jerrell’s BETR BRGR serves delicious burgers, fries, shakes , and soft serve ice cream – all vegan! Definitely get the Lil’ BETR BRGR, Waffle Fries, and Oat Milk Soft Serve with Cookie Crumble! The service is quick ⏲️ and the staff is friendly and welcoming! They have some outdoor seating available but you can definitely get your order to-go. I wish I knew about this place earlier!

I have never been here before but I heard good things about it from others. First time I went I had waffle fries with ice cream and that was just wow. Absolutely eat vanilla ice cream with waffles fries! (Thank me later) And the last time I went I had a burger with some chili cheese fries, very solid. I would for sure go back again.

We went to a free walking tour and this place was recommended to us. It certainly did not disappoint! The wait time was approximately 30 minutes (busy during lunchtime). There are some chairs undercover and some outside. The menu is rather small (3 brgr options) but well priced. We ordered two burgers and waffle fries ($4). When we got our brgrs, I noticed that it only had one fake beef patty. We got two Lil‘ btr brgr ($9) although we had paid for two O.G btr brgr ($12) I took it that they had accidentally mixed up our order and I didn’t want to make a big fuss about it, so when I went back I suggested to them to just put another patty on top instead of making a whole new burger. Then the nice lady (African-American looking, I forgot her name, sorry!) apologised, fixed it straight away & made up for it by throwing in some extra fries The food was delicious and better priced than most vegan places we have been to in NYC so far. Before we left, I wanted to order a Mojo (or Moho?) Mug but sadly they had run out, so I ordered a small soft ice cream ($5 or 6) with sprinkles & cookie crumbles instead. Amanda was so friendly and not only gave us a portion to share but also a recommendation for another vegan eatery option as we are eating our way through New York. My vegan Burger was delicious. The chocolate oat milk shake was thick like I like it, not chocolaty enough tho. The fries were very good. The wait was a bit long but, it certainly was tasty. How could I go wrong, no meat, and African American Owned.

the classic burger joint experience. waffle fries are crispy outside soft inside. burgers are always just right meat to sauce to toppings to bun ratio. soft serve is delicious. IMO better than shake shack. easy to order online and pick up or order at window. you can take your meal and eat at the little pocket park north of Broome or at the tables outside. Not entirely ideal for winter but worth it. just a great burger experience!

What are you waiting for to try this spot. Don’t walk run!!! We had fries, milk shakes, chili and a burger. Everything taste so good. Taste like meat but leaves you feeling like you ate a salad.
