Great stop in Nahunta, GA! Delicious home made food; the burgers are HUUUUGE and yummy, along with the grilled chicken & the sides. The prices are not bad, either! ($8.78 for burger, side & drink.) Nice decor with comfy padded booths. Jerry J’s is definitely a favorite when going to Jekyll Island, St Simons Island or Brunswick. And it’s right on Hwy 82, so very easy to stop. AND the folks there are SOOOOO NICE!!!

Their food was good, the restaurant was clean the cashier was helpful, the only thing I was confused about was they asked if we wanted money to give a tip to your waitress. What waitress? The lady who brought the good out and handed to my husband. We got our own drinks, the lady never came to check on us go see if we needed anything the only thing she did was have my husband our food.

I called in advance to make sure they had the patty style grilled chicken sandwich she said yes. I drove over to Nahunta to get it and there was 2 very small grilled tenders with no taste and dry the bread swallowed up the chicken that’s how small the strips were actually had enough room for an extra. More bread than chicken. I will never order it again. I went through the drive through so I didn’t give any stars for atmosphere.

The service is quick in both their dining room and in their drive thru. The parking is a bit cramped for servicing as many as they do. The JJ’s in Blackshear is the VERY BEST. Their staff is so friendly. They treat you like family even if it’s your first time eating with them. Waycross is also very good. The Nahunta location is good as well. They just aren’t as friendly and outgoing. The other restaurants have waitresses but Nahunta doesn’t. Still give them 4 outta 5 overall. Very clean restaurant too. ★★★★

Service is usually fast. Occasionally, but not often, orders wrong. Best to check orders from drive thru before you leave. Drive thru usually fast. Food is good but recently I’ve seen a price increase. The only thing that I would say negatively is what I’ve said for years is they need to cut WAY back on salt and pepper. Maybe even stop putting salt and pepper in food because i can always add salt and pepper but I can’t take it out. Breakfast is heavy in salt most times. To many different cooks time to time seasoning and it gets out of hand sometimes. I’ll still continue to eat here. Like I said, quick service and good food here. Cinnamon roll for breakfast is great. Just lighter up on the salt and pepper. Im sure I’m not alone with this
