I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband, sister and I all had shrimp po’boys. Very good and priced right. We each had a different type of fry, plain, spicy (which my husband said not real spicy) and sweet potato. All were good and plentiful. The waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive. The building was warm on a cold night which I appreciate. I encourage you to give them a try!

First time customer. Last time customer. Credit goes to the single potato (a whole potato) that was cooked well; al dente, so that’s good. But it doesn’t come close to making up for the rest of the experience.

Went on 9/16/21 Horrible experience, bun was fresh only 5 shrimp that were supposed to be JUMBO Po-boy basket. Very little lettuce, 1 slice of tomato cut in half with some type of sauce drizzled on top and it tasted like honey mustard and Mayo. As far as spice there was none tasted. I was asked how was it after the first bite and the waiter said “oh”. Not a sorry or would you like something else. I know Cajun but have never been to Jersey and in this diners opinion after a long day and much anticipation I was very disappointed. Epic fail for a new restaurant.

Came here today for the first time. Caveat Emptor: I have spent a lot of time in Louisiana, and lived in New Orleans as well. First impressions are everything, so with THAT said, there is definitely a seafood “vibe” going on here. I ordered the Flounder Basket ( see photo ). The “flounder is definitely not fresh… More like frozen filets. The taste was mediocre, and nothing to write home about. Plus, the beer is a bit overpriced and my girlfriend ordered a Long Island Ice Tea… It was pretty lousy. Will I ever return ??.. no. So with all considered, if you are planning on dining here, I would pass.

Very good news that a seafood Cajun style restaurant has come to the Peoria market. We really liked the Japanese undertones added to the menu. Cool decor. SHARKS!!!

My friend that moved up from New Orleans to Galesburg came over and we met at Jersey crab. He got the crayfish Cajun flamin’ hot, let’s just say it had no flavor to it he had a rubbed around in the plate to get a little flavor of it. He said he would not come back. My meal was teriyaki chicken what a joke it was like steam ed chicken that came out of a grocery store sack and put on some noodles with some teriyaki sauce no flavor at all cooked into it I also will not be back almost $18 per meal and neither one of us were pleased. Update restaurant said please come back and try us again. I’ve contacted them twice no respond on replacing one meal. How does people come back and say please give us another try we’ll make it right and then not take care of it it must just be for the public to see and then not staying behind.

Superb food and service! Got a big basket of King and snow crab, shrimp, potatoes and corn. Got medium Cajun seasoning. Was cooked to perfection and delivered in great time. The waiters were all very attentive and friendly. The place was not too crowded but also far from empty; the staff did not fall behind in service! I’ve been here twice now and have not been disappointed. I used to frequent Joe’s Crab Shack, and Jersey Crab is easily as good, if not better! Thank you so much for the wonderful meal! I will definitely be back!
