I had a good sandwich here and it ate inside and watched the rainfall. No real complaints. The inside of the restaraunt was clean, the Diet Coke was good, and the atmosphere was relaxing. 5/5.

Checked the website to be sure they were open before going over to the store. Got there. Lights on. OPEN sign on. Door locked. Another customer and I were outside the door as the guy inside yells, “We’re out of bread.” All while we stand there looking at someone inside holding a foot long. You can’t depend on this location. Isn’t the first time. 🙁

I really don’t know why it says they close at 4 online. Any day I’ve gone there at 3 they’ve literally been closed every time. I’ve wasted so much time going to this place when they should have been open only to be disappointed. What’s the deal? Is no one running this right? Are kids running it? Won’t be returning ever again

Jersey Giant in DeWitt is one of my very favorites, the subs are ALWAYS yummy, and we go back frequently. Great staff, and great food!

I agree with the more recent reviews. This store needs an actual manager. We visit this store on a weekly basis and will not be returning. This week we placed an online order at 11:01. Arrived at 11:38 and they hadn’t even started making the order (1 sub and 1 salad). Other times we arrived after 11:30 or after and there was a sign on the door saying closed baking bread (they open at 11)…at the start of the lunch rush? Another time arrived around 12:00 and all the lights were off but the door unlocked. When we went in and asked if they were open they said yes but had a large order so turned the lights off hoping people wouldn’t come in. This isn’t an issue of being understaffed it’s an issue of those who work there doing whatever because no one holds them accountable. These are just a few of the RECENT issues we’ve had. Will no longer visit this location.

This store needs to be run by someone other than the kids that work there, because they do not have the skills to do it alone. Not once but TWICE now, they have told me they do not have the things to complete a larger order ( 20 subs), even after calling and verifying. Today I called in advanced and checked to make sure they had everything they would need for us to place an order, was told that we were set to go. Called back 30 minuets later with everyone’s order and was then told they couldn’t do it. Whoever manages this store, needs to train the employees a little better because you have now lost local business.

These guys are amazing!! I ordered my subs for pickup about 10 minutes to closing, and I was let to pick up my order. These studs waited for me and were absolutely in great spirits even though I made them stay late on a Saturday night! I will definitely be singing their praises! Way to go guys!!

I’ll give two stars because the subs are good. The service deserves no stars. I have been in on more than one occasion where the workers seem annoyed by patrons just coming in and that has been no different from pre-covid times. If you go in too close to closing (even 30 minutes before) you will get a lecture on how you need to call ahead (mind you, i knew nothing of that and could not have shown any earlier anyway). This is apprently because subs must be too hard to make. They now post a sign that says you must call ahead if your order is four or more sandwiches. Really? What if I had shown and not known this, maybe I’d deserve a lecture?! Businesses are there to serve patrons who will gladly return if treated well. This is terrible treatment and a business model that breaks when there are a meager four sandwiches ordered. This is very weak and needs retooling if it is management’s intent to treat customers that way. This is an awful message your employees portray about your image and conveys that customers do not matter. Change your practice!

Not impressed! They no longer have the wonderful dark wheat bread I loved so much. Asked for the vinaigrette dressing (Kens secret one- only reason to choose Jersey Giant over any other sub shop IMO) and only got vinegar and oil. Won’t bother with this place ever again!

The shop has the same entrance as the martial art studio, so don’t get confused. Go right, not left. There is no food for you on the left. We got the Jersey Giant. And it was giant!!! I thought the half was the whole sandwich. The internet was out so we had to pay with cash. Not a big deal but it seemed like this wasn’t the first time.
