Stickball Special
Provolone, ham and salami. Ordering a #2 with salami instead of cappaculo became a mouthful for some of our hungry customers, so we gave it a name and a number to call its own. The Stickball Special comes with provolone, ham, and salami and truly knocks it out of the park.
Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Usually when the younger kids are in they practice better sanitary awareness. An older guy made my sandwich, went to punch in the cost on computer WITH gloves on, then came back and touched my sandwich, pressed down on it to cut it and wrap it with the same gloves?! Guess he was too busy practicing his knife throwing skills to practice proper sanitation protocol.

This location is incredibly disappointing. The staff always looks unhappy, ignored you until you speak up, and is very cheap with the slices of meat. They’ll start closing down fresh ingredients 2 hours prior to closing. Do not recommend.

I don’t know what’s wrong with this location. Im quite fed up with my experience here. It is literally only this location that I have problems with. I always order a chicken Philly. Since I can’t eat onions, I like to sub it for mushrooms. They can never make my sandwich right. They forget to add the mushrooms or they forget to take out the onions, or they take out the peppers entirely. The employees like to tell me, “you didn’t tell me that” or “you never said hold the onions” blah blah I’ve heard every condescending excuse. They don’t speak to me with any form of respect, nor do they offer to remake my sandwich. Its always someone different.

When we eat here, it’s always an enjoyable experience. We love to eat in, to watch the team working hard and together to serve their customers valiantly. Today, Kody, James, and Josh killed it on customer service. Busy dinner hour didn’t slow them down, or take away from the willingness to have great customer service! Usually a pretty solid choice for lunch, but had our first bad experience here yesterday. Ordered four sandwiches online and picked up at the store, but got home to find only three in the bag. Went back to the store to get the fourth and was given a “regular” that was two inches shorter than our other regulars — clearly a mini. Net result was that my wife ate half of a lunch while I ate a soggy sandwich because of the extra 30 minutes of back and forth. JM has to be better than this on our next trip, otherwise it will be our last trip to this location.
