Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

This was my first experience at Jersey Mike’s. I really wish there was one in the vicinity of where I live because this sandwich was sensational! Every. Single. Bite. Even better in my opinion than D’angelo’s which has been my favorite sandwich shop since the 70’s so that’s saying a lot. The next time I am in the area again I will certainly go back.

Five stars as far as ‘Jersey Mike’s Subs’ go… Place is always clean, staff is very friendly, courteous, and fast!! They get you in and out 1,2,3… If staying, the tables are not on top of each other which is nice. Plenty of easy parking.

Food is good but the preparation is unsanitary. The meat slicer is supposed to get wiped down after every use, same with cutting board. It’s a food code violation if not. No one wiped down anything the whole time I was there.

I’ve never had bad food from the Jersey Mike’s. Sometimes I think the employees have been overworked and they deserve a break. This location can get very busy. Like I’ve said in other reviews of places like this, typically the customers are the ones that cause the issues by yelling at the staff. I really can’t blame Jersey Mike’s for that. Overall, it’s a decent place.

Went to Jersey Mike’s last night had a turkey and cheese. Sub 1st of all is the 1st time I’ve ever been there in my life. Everybody raves about it. I have to say the truth I didn’t think anything good about it. Wasn’t that great of a sandwich on top of all of it since I ate it? I’ve been throwing up and it also been diarrhea So I have been sick as a dog do I rate it one star I rated no stars
