Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Let me be clear. I like Jersey Mike’s. They make great sandwiches. Steer clear of this location, though, until they get quality employees. While I stood waiting for my food to be made, two of the three employees were complaining about having to come into work. The employee cutting the meat, whether deliberate or not, left out a meat from one of my sandwiches. I suppose he didn’t think I’d notice. At the end, the two employees at the sandwich station argued about who would ring me up, neither of whom actually did. One employee was at the grill the whole time and didn’t do a thing. I left and won’t be back to this location. I would understand if this was an isolated incident, however it wasn’t. The apathy of a handful of employees at this particular franchise is tarnishing the reputation of a sandwich chain that I genuinely regard as good.

Very disappointed. Ordered a regular size. Looks about 4 inches in size. Asked for extra lettuce, didn’t get it. For almost 10.00 definitely not worth the money. Also ordered a giant so my son could take 1/2 to work the next day. Very small as well. Will no longer be buying here again. Staff is amazing. They are the ONLY reason we gave 2 stars.

Casey waited on us last night at Jersey Mike’s on Hendersonville Road. I could not ask for a nicer young man he went above and beyond anything anyone should do. I told him I was getting a sub for my niece in the hospital and he took care of it himself and would not let me pay for hers. And the stage not many people are so kind to do such a thing. I just want to say thank you to Jersey Mike’s for hiring wonderful people like Casey. It was my first trip to a Jersey Mike’s ever and I will be back again and again and I will send everyone I know and Asheville to see Casey on Hendersonville Road to Jersey Mike’s
