Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Poor service. Always chaotic. Its quicker to order online while standing in line. Customers in the store will be served last. The team seems to do better when the manager isn’t there. It’s shouldn’t take 30 minutes to make a sub. When they finally ask how you want the sandwich they quickly throw it together. I refuse to be rushed – I have already waited 30 minutes – what’s another 5.

They served like 20 walk-in people before making my online order. Three other people had to wait about 15 mins or more for their online orders too. I don’t understand why they wait to make the food until I arrive when I already paid for the food online. Maybe they’re being cheap and don’t want to waste the food if I didn’t show up, but at the expense of my time. Not only that but the walk in line was moving pretty quick. Online orders are obviously a second priority for this spot. Also, the reviews for this place are fake. This place hasn’t been open that long. They took a previous location that had closed and moved the maps entry to this new address. Very shady and terrible service.

I used the mobile app for the 1st time and feared this was gonna happen if I didn’t watch them make my food. I would have refused to pay for this sub if I watched them make it. I also tipped 20%. 3 stars b/c I have had good subs when I order in person.$ and time wasted.
