Stickball Special

Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

This is a sad excuse for a no bread bowl that costs $10. Ordered online can’t add toppings only can take off. If I would have known it didn’t come with lettuce I would have never ordered. Online ordering needs some serious updating at least subway adds lettuce on their no bread bowls! Will never be ordering from here again!

The employees and supervisor were very accommodating. My boyfriend has to Jersey Mike’s, but this was my first time. We only order hot food. We noticed that the kid restocking the food service line was over filling the pans which meant they were in violation of keeping the veggies at the proper temperature. Order food that needs to be heated to lessen food poisoning. Other than the over filling of food pans, we liked the food and service. Nice place to eat a Philly cheese steak.

I really like Jersey Mikes but… Since I’ve been back in town for the last 3 months the place is very messy where they make the subs. They just scrape the lettuce off and don’t clean the counters off it looks like for the whole day. After my last visit today I don’t think I’ll be back for a while. Too dirty made me uncomfortable.
