Stickball Special

Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledge employee too busy asking manager for his new week schedule, manager sitting in dinning room, she saw me, told employee to wait on me.He ignored her kept talking to her about schedule. Finally he comes over no greeting, starts cutting bread loafs, didn’t ask what I would like to order. Finally I asked him are you going to take me order? He replies “oh yea what you want . Order my sandwich and left. First time I have had such bad experience.

Great experience! And really nice employee!!! I was having a bad day and their attitude made me feel so comfortable. They were a girl from NY that relocated here in FL. I’m happy they did cuz they are a gem. So nice. Such a great experience got me my food fast as I got take out. Wish I got their name. They had lots of tattoos. Accidentally cut my sub wrong but they were so genuine and hospitable no worries and fixed it on the spot. Wish every place had people like them.

Neither employee at the front seemed like they wanted to be there. Did not feel welcome. The young lady that made the hot sandwiches was the only friendly one and the only one to say thank you. Ordered a BLT and when we got home with our order all it had was bread and baco. No lettuce no tomato. 16.00 for 10 pieces of bacon was ridiculous. Will not be going back.

Sally the supervisor was rude and dis respectful I am a regular customer and like my sanwhich without green peppers the cook told me there were no peppers on my sandwich I get home and call and was told my sandwich was not able to be without green peppers I order the same thing all the time after explaining the situation to Sally s h e was rude and hung up on me I expected more from a Jersey Mikes
